Dr. Ioannis Papadimitriou serves as Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sofia Med.

He graduated from the Technical University of Hanover, Electrical Engineering faculty. From 1986 to 1991, he worked as a Research Associate at the “Institute of Production Engineering and Machine Tools Technology ” at the same University. In 1991, he was awarded a Doctorate (Dr.-Ing.) from the Technical University of Hanover. Dr. Papadimitriou joined Halcor in 1992. Between June 2006 and August 2013, he served as Director of the Tube Mill. From September 2013 through the end of 2023, he held the position of General Manager of Sofia Med.
