Sofia Med produces all relevant copper grades in equivalent qualities, including SM1100 (ETP-Copper), SM1010 (OF-Copper), SM1030 (Cu-PHC), SM1031 (Cu-HCP), SM1201 (Cu-DLP), and SM1220 (Cu-DHP).
Low-alloyed coppers are becoming increasingly important in electromobility applications. Our range includes SM201 (CuSn0.15), SM202 (CuFe0.1P), SM194 (CuFe2P), and SM301 (CuZn0.5).
Brass remains the most widely used material for connectors today. Sofia Med offers the full range—from low-zinc alloys such as SM305 (CuZn5) to high-zinc grades like SM340 (CuZn40).
Thanks to their excellent relaxation behavior, high tensile strength and good electrical conductivity, copper-nickel-silicon alloys (CuNiSi or Corsons) are highly valued in the connector industry. Sofia Med produces solution-annealed grades for all key CuNiSi strip applications.
