Dear Partner,
Sofia Med faces with outmost responsibility the global crisis caused by COVID-19. With this letter we would like to inform you about the measures taken by Sofia Med in order to ensure business continuity at the best possible way, while remaining dedicated to keep the health and safety of our employees, business partners and customers.
As a first step we established a “Covid-19 Crisis Team” to monitor the situation on a national and global level, to propose measures, as well as to follow their implementation. Our actions are in full compliance to the orders and guidelines, given by the VIOHALCO Headquarters, the Bulgarian authorities and the World Health Organization.
Some of the actions taken so far:
Detailed instructions on Health and Safety, guidelines and measures regarding the personal hygiene have been issued and distributed.
We are expanding possibilities to work from Home Office, where possible. Our communication can continue as usual without any interruption.
All business trips and/or visits from/to Sofia Med are suspended.
Meetings are postponed or transformed to phone/skype/video - conferences.
Appropriate measures related to disinfection of the premises, goods receiving areas and vehicles, transporting staff, are implemented.
Shifts schedules and breaks have been reorganized accordingly in order to avoid contacts and to significantly reduce number of people in groups at one and the same area.
Instructions about protective equipment requirements are provided to transportation companies. Our Logistic department in close collaboration with VIOHALCO Central Logistics is monitoring very closely all official announcements and the real transportation situation to all destinations and acts dynamically.
There is no impact of Covid-19 on the employees of Sofia Med or on our business until today. Production teams follow all safety instructions and execute our production program without loss of time. The same is valid for our delivery schedules.
We keep on reminding about the importance of personal hygiene and following the orders and guidelines, given by the Bulgarian state Authorities and the World Health Organization.
We would highly appreciate your regular feedback on any development or impact of Covid-19 to our common business.
